First, start way before your trade show. Build excitement for your booth before the event starts!

Use social media as a tool to drop hints about some of the awesome surprises your company has for its visitors during the show. Post some of the giveaways on social media and have people vote for which items they would like to receive when they stop by to visit you.

Why not have a SPECIAL Trade Show ONLY deal? Most people love to get a deal. If you stop by our booth you will receive a discount on your next order. Don’t make it too crazy of a deal. You want to make sure you benefit from it as well.

Hand out the biggest bag. When you hand out prizes and giveaways, make sure you give them to people in a really big bag. Silly? Other companies usually give out bags too. If they’re carrying multiple bags, they tend to stuff them all into the biggest bag.

Give away items they can interact with or play with. Allow your visitors to play an interactive game or to use the promotional items at your booth.

Use eye-catching colors in your booth. Bring your own lighting so you can spotlight special items. Try a video podium to tell your story.

Create architectural interest in your booth designs. Look at your competitors before the event. See how they will be decorating their booth, then create a larger, taller booth than those around you. You are sure to be noticed.

I see you over there! Try balloons with your booth number. You can also have a hanging overhead display with a graphic that stands out. People will see your booth from a distance.

Win a prize. Prize wheel with prizes makes the trade show much more fun. People walking the trade show floor will hear the wheel spinning and follow the sound right to your booth and the crowd standing around it.

Good, better, best promotional products for prospects. Make sure they are items they can use. Tech tools such as power banks, smart plugs phone wallets with rings are items to consider. People are tired of getting pens and mugs.

People walking the trade show all day get hungry, so offer food treats, cookies, muffins, fruit, mints, chocolate, and water with your logo and contact information on them.

Set up a charging station for your guests. People walking the trade show with their mobile devices will thank you. Place pamphlets, reading material or perhaps an iPad with your company information scrolling. While they are charging their device, your logo and information will be in front of them.
