Hootsuite is the first social media management tool that I learned to use. My professors in school raved about it, and after using other social media management platforms, I understand why.
Hootsuite’s interface is extremely intuitive: the website looks nice, it’s easy to navigate, and they have tutorials to guide you if you get stuck.
Whether you are looking for an easier way to manage your own business’ social media, or you are a Social Media Coordinator, like me, and manage accounts for multiple businesses, Hootsuite is a great tool to have.
Below are some of the most useful features Hootsuite has to offer.
1. Post Scheduling
If you manage multiple social media accounts, it’s pretty much a necessity to be able to draft and schedule posts in advance for multiple accounts and platforms. Hootsuite allows you to draft posts, choose which social media platform you want to post to, and schedule when it will post.
2. Engagement
Hootsuite allows you to interact with users on multiple social media platforms and from multiple accounts, all from their website. This makes monitoring activity and engaging with followers a breeze.
3. Analytics
Hootsuite offers analytics for all your connected accounts. You can see which posts were most popular on each platform, how many people liked or interacted with your content, and how many followers you gained or lost over a given period of time.
4. Social Listening
Hootsuite offers a feature called Hootsuite Streams, which allows you to monitor things like specific hashtags and key words or phrases that are relevant to your industry/business, and Streams will constantly update this information, so you don’t have to search for it yourself.
Hootsuite also allows you to monitor your own business mentions as well as mentions of or comments about your competitors, which can give valuable insight into how you can improve your social media efforts.
In Conclusion
There are other social media scheduling and management tools like Hootsuite, and while they all have their advantages, in my opinion, Hootsuite does it the best. Not sure where to start? Contact AG Marketing Solutions at info@agmsolutions.com for all of your social media needs!
